About Us
The FLORIDA THOROUGHBRED REGION (FTR) of The Porsche Club of America (PCA) was founded in 2015 and consists of over 600 members in North Central Florida, including the Marion, Sumter, Levy, and Citrus counties. This area is comprised of beautiful rolling hills, huge mature oak trees, and endless thoroughbred horse farms. Some of the primary cities served are Ocala, The Villages, Inverness, Bushnell, Williston, Bronson, Dunellon, and Crystal River.
Our club members are fans of all types of Porsches! No matter what the year or model, you and your family can enjoy our many events and gatherings.
As a club, we strive to offer a variety of monthly events including driving activities, social gatherings, track days/high-performance driver education, tech sessions, car shows, and premieres in conjunction with our wonderful local dealership, Porsche of Ocala.
Many of our activities also include community service activities, benefiting different organizations such as the Ronald McDonald House of North Central Florida and the Marion Therapeutic Riding Association.
So, whether you’re a Porsche owner or an enthusiast, there’s something for everyone at FTR! As a member, you’re encouraged to show off your prized possession to people who can appreciate it while attending a wide array of events.
