Marion Therapeutic Riding Association Charity Drive:

The Florida Thoroughbred Region has a major focus on charity.  Our drive and dine events, cars and coffee events, and our annual meeting and holiday party not only focus on members and cars but some great charity drives.

The Region has donated from $1000 to $3000 annually to charities such as Shands Children’s Hospital, Toys for Tots, Ronald McDonald House, and the Marion Therapeutic Riding Association.  In turn, our members added another $300 to $1500 for each charity drive.  Food pantries have also benefited from the charity of our FTR members.

Ronald McDonald House Charity Drive:

The heart of our holiday party and annual meeting event wasn’t just in the food, music, or decor—it was in the generosity of our commUNITY. We are thrilled to share that $4,935 was donated to the Ronald McDonald House. Their extraordinary mission to provide comfort, care, and support to families with sick children across the globe resonated deeply with everyone in attendance, reminding us of the spirit of the season: giving and gratitude.

A heartfelt thank you to all who joined and contributed to making this event such a success. Together, we brought holiday cheer, fostered meaningful connections, and made a tangible impact for those in need.
